The Worldwide Independent Lawyers League is hosting a conference for its affiliates and international participants from over 18 countries.
The Worldwide Independent Lawyers League (WILL) aims to enhance the legal expertise of its affiliates through global gatherings on legal practices.
Purpose of the Conference
The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for independent lawyers from around the world to share ideas, network, and learn from each other.
The conference will also invite other stakeholders in commerce and justice to share their experiences.
The practice of law is becoming increasingly globalized. This is due to a number of factors, including the growth of the global economy, the rise of international trade and investment, and the increasing importance of international law.As a result of globalization, lawyers are increasingly called upon to advise clients on matters that have a cross-border dimension. For example, a lawyer in the United States may be asked to advise a client on a contract that will be performed in Europe, or a lawyer in China may be asked to advise a client on a merger that will involve a company in the United States.

In order to effectively practice law in a globalized world, lawyers need to have a strong understanding of the different legal systems that exist around the world. They also need to be familiar with the different laws that apply to cross-border transactions.
In addition to their legal knowledge, lawyers who practice in a globalized world also need to have strong communication skills.
